Charlotte and Theatre of Adventure are key artists in this amazing project working with disadvantaged young people and young offenders running a variety of Performing Arts Projects.

“I cannot express enough just how impressed I was with the quality of the work. I echo the views of everyone when I say that the residential far exceeded anyone’s expectations. The support and understanding you have given the Youth Arts Partnership has enabled us to develop a very successful programme.”

Corrina Giles – SeaChange Trust

“I get Goose bumps every time I see hard-bitten young people lose their fear of looking foolish and instead embrace their vulnerability and get their first big Laugh from an audience. It gives me hope”

Theatre of Adventure has delivered two years of major work in Costessey Junior School, Norwich

“People who say ‘Yes’ go on to have Adventures, they promised us; so we said Yes and they kept their promise! With the leadership, inspiration and support of Theatre of Adventure Yr3 embarked on an Epic journey to the Victorian Era. To say the children enjoyed the sessions is an understatement – they left the sessions buzzing, they developed their thinking skills and they developed their own lines of enquiry. Pupils who found verbal communication hard now express themselves more confidently. One child with special needs became a Star Performer!”
Christine Woor – Creative Partner – Costessey Junior School

“I would not hesitate in recommending [Theatre of Adventure’s] services for projects that involve commissioned performance, education work and community capacity building.”
Heidi Hadley – Cultural Regeneration Co-Ordinator

“There’s a lot of talk in this business – but you did what you said you would do.”
Martin Goodrich – Freeform Arts

“The children learned to face an audience confidently, to move and express themselves without inhibitions and to make people laugh. They were totally committed within the first day. It was valuable for them to meet ‘alternative’ people like the performance artists, who were all good role models.”
G Bennet – Loddon Middle school
